Strength is often associated with our physical capacity, something that be seen and measured. What goes unseen, is the will-power and energy behind the physical effects; the qualities of tenacity, patience and endurance that are required to build that strength.
This Forrest Yoga workshop will lead you through a practice of shadow and light, with a focus on both the seen and the unseen aspects of building strength. Through working with what in Forrest Yoga is known as 'breath formula', you will be encouraged to connect deeply with the breath: drawing in strength on the inhalation and allowing the exhalation to focus on expression and intention. By breathing more deeply you can connect more deeply with who you really are, understanding more the purpose of your existence.
During the workshop you will learn about Bodywork and Myofascial Release - working with specific areas of the body to support the release of tension. This will be a 'hands on' exploration and will include partnerwork and an explanation of individual anatomy.
